She Paradise is a striking coming-of-age narrative set in the vibrant and contemporary Caribbean backdrop of Trinidad and Tobago. Maya Cozier and  Melina Brown present a story of sisterhood, sexuality, and self-discovery, in a proof-of-concept short that was expanded in a feature film.

The short had its world premiere premiered at Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival and it’s NYC premiere at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Caribbean Shorts Festival. It is also an official selection on ShortofTheWeek.com.

The feature-length script won the Take One Feature Film Grant. The finished feature is an official selection for 2020's Tribeca Film Festival,  AFI's Film Fest, and Rotterdam Film Festival in The Netherlands.
